The #2 Wall Hawks won their 14^th game in a row as Wall scored 34 runs in one game and beat Merkel 34-0. The Hawks are 12-0 in district…the Lake View Chiefs lost at home to Snyder 7-5 and the loss drops Lake View to fourth in their district.

n HS softball, the Central Lady Cats lost their home finale 4-0 to Odessa Permian. The loss drops Central to fifth place and the Lady Cats have to beat first place Frenship on Friday to have a chance at the playoffs…the Wall softball team won their season finale 3-2 in 11 innings over Merkel to earn the #3 seed for the playoffs out of district 6-3A
